A Friendly Hub for Locals since 1884
Tacklers Club Colne has a proud tradition of fostering camaraderie and community spirit. We were founded in 1884 to serve the ‘Tacklers’ of the local textile mills. ‘Tacklers’ were the mechanics that kept the looms running.
Even though the old textile mills have sadly long gone, the club still runs along and is still committed to creating a warm, inclusive space where members can relax, enjoy events, and engage in club activities.

Social trips out and any other special events and free to members, where as guest have to pay. Guest day pass to the the club is charged at £1.00
access to all our facilities
Snooker, pool, darts and card games. We also have sporting events and music playing.
free room hire for your private event
Having a birthday party or other private function. Our main lounge can cater for up to 100 guest. Best of all you have access to our cheap bar!
ability to vote on club matters
A club is only ever going to be as good as the members make it. Being a member allows you to speak up at the AGM and shape the future of your club.
